"To me, intelligence is a spectrum, not a binary. So something can have limited intelligence, or lots. Yeast have programmable responses to stimulus, but hardly arguable as intelligence. The picture gets murkier with higher-order brains (e.g. nematodes,flies). I'm confident humans are intelligent 1/2"
