"That one year (2008?) a bunch of grad students decided to turn the back yard of their rented duplex into a huge garden.

A truly ludicrous volume of vegetable mass."

"A garden, roughly arranged in rows.
There's a row of poppies along the near edge, then corn, then possibly potatoes and then something that climbs, maybe beans?
Also sunflowers along the right hand edge of the photo, a shed in the back, and a dense hedge of kale, beets and swiss chard."

"A view of the "front" of the garden, with a deeply overgrown path to a little beige shed along the left hand side.
The overgrown parts are squash and chard/beets that seem to reach out from the edges to engulf the lawn as well as the paving stones.
Assorted greenery of every variety fills the background.

Some nice, tame sweet peas climb a trellis along the neighbouring garage. Order amidst the exuberant vegetal chaos.
The back alley and parking area beyond the garden are screened by some sunflowers that reached over 2 metres in height."

"Another view of the garden along the clearer sidewalk pavers next to the neighbouring garage.
This edge was lined in flowers (poppies and other things) that have mostly finished blooming by these photos.
Some yellow marigolds can be seen in the middle of the garden, next to tomatoes.
The back edge is fully a line of 2 metre or taller sunflowers, flush with the back edge of the shed.
The front edge of the garden has a bean trellis that may or may not actually have any beans on it.

    Everything ins green and thriving."
