"Just heard that my fellow walker Steve Rich just recorded 850 Silver-studded Blues on the Studland/Ferry Bridge transects in Dorset. So thats one insect defying the poor year. Also shows how resilient it is, the site was waterlogged for months when the caterpillars were overwintering in ants nests"
