"Here's the time I self-indulgently made an entire punch-needle rug (by hand, not with a tufting gun). I showed close friends, but I didn't even show the Internet until 3 years after I made it because it was something I made just for me."

"This is the back detail on the punch needle rug. It has a bit cleaner appearance due to this not being the "fluffy" surface of the rug's pile. But you can see each hand-placed loop to create the tapestry. I have placed a watermark across the tail. There is a banana and grass visible to show the photo is taken outside and to indicate its scale."
