"Sad to say I'm cancelling my trip to World Fantasy. They asked me to be on disability panels, but ignored months of my pleading with them to have a real COVID policy. Every recent major con has been a spreader. 

Many disabled attendees wrote to WFC with concern.

The result? This non-policy."

  The safety of our speakers, staff, and conference attendees is our top priority.
  We will not require proof of vaccination but hope that everyone that can will be vaccinated.
  We strongly recommend but do not require masks to be worn.
  If you have COVID-related symptoms, please stay home. WFC will work with you to move your registration to a virtual or supporting membership.
  Hand sanitizer will be provided at the registration desk and all programming areas. Proper sanitation of the meeting space will be performed prior to the start of the conference and each night.
  We encourage all in-person attendees to return to the same seat after breaks and when staying in the same meeting room for consecutive sessions. For presenters, the computer equipment including the microphones will be wiped down after each use.
